If you want to help but can't cover a student's entire school supply list, donating school supplies is another wonderful way to help.
Some of the school supplies we can use include:
- backpacks
- headphones
- sketchbooks
- TI scientific calculators
- reusable water bottles
- 1 to 1.5" binders
- dry erase markers
- pencil pouches
- computer mice
- graphing paper
- watercolor paints
You can drop off items at Hollee's home in St. Michael. If you plan to drop off supplies, please e-mail info@projectpencils.com.

"adopt" a student
Volunteer to cover a student's full school supply list and backpack. We typically have several ages of students to choose from. You can drop off the supplies in St. Michael or Buffalo. Please e-mail us or join our Facebook page if you would like to help.

have a backpack-filling event
Friends, co-workers, family members, church members, childcares, and more have enjoyed putting together backpacks for Project Pencils. It's a great way to celebrate a birthday, boost team morale, celebrate a family reunion, incorporate service-learning, or bring your friends together.
help with backpack distribution
We will be distributing backpacks to families on Saturday, August 26 from 8 -11 a.m. and on Tuesday, August 29 from 5-8 p.m. in St. Michael. We also have other opportunities to help prepare supplies in August. Please contact us if you would like to help.
